An online consultation is NOW OPEN in order to review the draft National Occupational Standards for Youth Work

The review if open until 12 noon on 22nd February 2019.

With the support of a number of our members and colleagues from across the sector, the CLD Standards Council (Scotland) has led a review of the range of NOS for the Youth Work sector across the UK.

CLD are now consulting on the draft content in order to determine whether they reflect the skills and knowledge required for those carrying out job functions.

The next stage is to hear the views of as many people as possible, from right across the sector, to confirm the content is appropriate.

Your input is now invited at this open consultation stage to define the Standards which will be used to shape courses and qualifications, job descriptions and other talent management tools for individuals, employers, trainers and educators in the sector.
