Invitation to Co-operative 'University' Discussion Meeting
Thursday 24th October 2019, 10am-1.30pm. Manchester
‘Youth & Community Practice: Alternative Ways of Organising’

The Association has been involved in some early discussions with the Co-operative College regarding their plans for a Co-operative University and we are pleased to invite members to participate in a discussion with the Co-operative College regarding their developing vision.

The proposal for a Co-operative University is asking questions about “how higher education can be done differently…with a vision is to develop a new type of university based on social justice and co-operative values and principles which works for the mutual benefit of all.”

Some members have expressed an interest in how the Co-operative University vision may link with ‘alternative ways of organising’ in youth and community practice and we are pleased to convene this meeting to explore the opportunities this initiative might present.

For further information you can read more about the Co-operative University vision via this link.

Their are limited places available for this event and you should book via this link as soon as possible
