The H2020 project PROMISE: Promoting Youth Involvement and Social Engagement is a major EU funded youth research project coordinated by the University of Manchester. The project brings together 12 European research institutes with complementary expertise. PROMISE explores young people’s role in shaping society by focusing on the different ways they engage with social, environmental and political issues, and how they present opportunities for social change. The meeting will give a platform for researchers, young people, practitioners, policy and decision makers and create room for reflective discussion about key messages from the project.
