The Association is repeating its online research and writing workshop following a successful event in April 2021.

This is being hosted by Simon Williams (University of Derby) and Frances Howard (Nottingham Trent University). All members are welcome to register and participate.

The aim of this ‘virtual retreat’ is to support members by setting aside time to work on writing, whether that be a special issue paper, a journal article, a book proposal or thought piece. Interested members are encouraged to block out these days (or any part of these days) in your calendar as a commitment to make time for your creative self in writing as part of a community of practice.

The virtual retreat will include meeting together online each morning (10am) and each afternoon (1.30pm) for quick introductions and to discuss our writing plans and progress. There will also be a quick catch up before lunch (12.30pm) and at the end of the day (3pm).

You can register for all or part of the retreat and full joining details will be sent to registered participants in advance of their participation. There is no charge for this event.
